This is the third year that Monetcasino plays host to some of the tennis greats. SA Tennis Open has been played at Montecasino in 2009 and 2010, where two show courts seating 6000 tennis fans have been built specifically for the event, with Joe Wilfried Tsonga and Filiciano Lopez the singles champions for 2009 and 2010 respectively.
Spectators are advised to bring sunhats and sunscreen as this is an outdoor venue. Umbrellas only to be used in case of rain.
The tournament will take place from January 31, 2011 to February 6, 2011.
